1). I was on transit, would reach in an odd hour, and so looked for a place to stay as nearest to the Chandigarh airport as possible. Either booking.com or the hotel misled me into believing that the hotel is located very near to the Chandigarh airport. To my frustration I found out that it's more than 15 kms away and a good 30 to 40 mins ride to the airport 2). For only a 7 hours transit stay, it was highly overpriced without any extraordinary facilities or services to show 3). Breakfast was included in the price I paid. As I was leaving early, I asked for take-away breakfast. When I opened the box later, to my disappointment I found only one doughnut and a cup cake and a container of cut watermelons which they called mixed fruit platter. For beverages, there was one Rs.10/- worth fruit juice (frooti) 4). The staff at the reception was mundane and not so courteous 5). Room was very small and with basic amenities only Overall, I felt cheated, both by booking.com and by the property

In this hotel the scent of lemon is always a pleasure like the paintings along the corridors of the rooms! Involving people with disability in the staff it's a valuable commitment

The rooms are starting to need to be refreshed. Breakfast should be richer, the machine to warm bread is unpresentable!

I would certainly recommend it as a good value hotel and place to stay in Chandigarh. The food, variety, quality and the service in the restaurant was excellent. It was clean, comfortable and a nice ambiance in the hotel. All staff were very helpful, friendly and curious to us. Also they employ disabled employees which I thought, in India, was very lovely. I would not hesitate to stay at the Lemon Tree, Chandigarh again.

Dont bother with the Spa(poor, disinterested massage ladies with terrible customer skills). We booked an appointment for 10.30 and we went up at 10.30 and nobody was there! They were totally not willing to work and they did not have the substances to do the advertised massages even if you did manage to get them doing something!

Good location. Elante mall is just 5 mins walk with dozens of dining and shopping options. Breakfast was good. They serve good fresh parathas, omelettes.

During winters they do not run room ac, they run centralised room heater.. Result - You cannot keep your ac/heater on continuously, even in peak winter period, you start feeling suffocated.. When you request Front office to switch on the AC, they will send Housekeeping person and open your room window and ask you to keep your room ceiling FAN switched on.. First time I've seen this in a 4/5 star hotel.. (Hotel room where I've to keep my windows open and switch on ceiling fan during night)

Located close to the industrial area and ideal for business meetings. located close to the big mall. The reception is very friendly and responsive.

The east facing rooms do not have suitable blinds to cut out the morning sun. the water temperature in the shower is highly underrated. The buffet for lunch is very basic and even before the time is over the food runs out. the presentation is also very poor.

Reception excellent. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Pleasant atmosphere, as expected from previous Lemon Tree stays. Food fine. We love the jokes on the place-mats!

Hooks etc far too high for small people! Advertised pool/pool area very very small. Restaurant staff nice enough but seemed to lack training. General impression not nearly as high as at Lemon Tree in Aurangabad.

Pool was too small and washroom next to pool area was dirty Overcharged - feel cheated as amount charged on credit card (without providing OTP/password) was higher than quoted/ agreed price

Every thing was good. Had a comfortable stay. We we're single women travellers. Safe place to stay. All that we needed was catered to hy the staff very promptly. Will definitely come again n also recommend to friends

Breakfast could be a bit better.

What I did not like was the booking by Booking.com as I had clicked the room with breakfast but it did not allow me the same. This has happened with me twice
